About Purize: Made in Germany Filter Pioneers
Purize was founded in 2016 by Roberto Hunger in Bad Brückenau, Bavaria, with a clear mission: to offer smokers a significantly cleaner and more pleasant smoking experience without compromising on enjoyment. What began as a small start-up quickly became a leading manufacturer of activated carbon filters with the motto "PURIZE ... Stay Green!". The brand solved a long-standing problem in cannabis culture: it developed the first truly usable slim activated carbon filter for CBD joints, replacing makeshift cardboard tips with a professional, functional solution.
At the heart of every Purize filter is activated carbon from renewable coconut shells – a natural material with a highly porous structure that effectively captures unwanted substances from smoke. The innovation lies in the design: heat-resistant ceramic caps at both ends mean there's no "wrong" insertion direction. Purize commits to sustainability through plastic-free, reusable containers like glass jars and recyclable paper pouches. The filters are available in various stylish colours, made with vegan, food-grade dyes. Despite higher production costs in Germany, the brand remains loyal to this location to guarantee the highest quality standards.
Today, Purize employs dozens of people and distributes its filter products worldwide. The range includes, alongside activated carbon filters, rolling papers, grinders and other smoking accessories – all developed according to principles of innovation, creativity and quality. The target audience includes both traditional hand-rollers and modern connoisseurs seeking a gentler, cleaner way to enjoy. In cannabis culture, Purize has established itself as a cult brand and offers lifestyle appeal through its wide selection of eye-catching colours – from natural tones to bright neons.
