The uWeed CBD Shop report: Are there any CBD Side Effects or CBD Oil Side Effects? Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is one of over a 100 different types of cannabinoids discovered to date. CBD oil is typically registered and marketed as a nutritional and/or health supplement. It is showing up in every form of CBD products from cookies and chocolates, to smoothies and designer waters, as well as CBD Oil. The Food and Drug Administration in the US has also approved the first CBD drug to treat rare forms of epilepsy in children after successful clinical trials.
Below, uWeed explains how safe cannabidiol really is and what potential CBD side effects there might be.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recently released a report stating that: “To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD”. The same report also stated that there is no evidence currently available showing that cannabis oil is either physically or psychologically addictive, making it an excellent long-term treatment option for many people.
This report is largely based on emerging evidence from several studies showing that CBD is non-toxic and non-psychoactive. Furthermore, it is well tolerated by most patients. This is the case, even with chronic use at high dosages of up to 1,500 mg/day. In addition, they also found that there is no evidence showing that CBD has any effect on psychomotor or psychological function. Nor does it cause changes in, or affect any other physiological parameters. Heart rate, blood pressure or body temperature are not negatively affected at controlled dosages.
This is also true in comparison with other drugs often used for the treatment of many serious medical conditions. Those include medical marijuana, but, the CBD side effects profile is much better. This of course helps to improve patients compliance and adherence to treatment.
However, some reports also mention certain contraindications and CBD Oil side effects experienced by a very small percentage of users. However, everyone should seek medical advice before starting the regular intake of Cannabidiol to avoid or limit potential side effects.
Hemp oil/Cannabidiol can act as a blood thinner by raising the blood thinning compound called coumadin in the body. For people who are already suffering from low blood pressure, medical advise should be obtained. Also for people with certain blood diseases or bleeding disorders such as haemophilia or “von Willebrand disease”, the use of Cannabidiol can be risky. Those people should certainly contact their GP prior to using CBD products.
CBD Side Effects – Because everyone is unique, with each of us having different needs, body compositions, health profiles, and physical conditioning. People also metabolize CBD differently. This means that some people can experience certain side effects from the use of CBD drops. For others, using CBD may be completely contraindicated.
Always speak to your doctor before starting any type of treatment, even natural options such as CBD oil.
